ExcitaPlus is a product that supports the
excitatory neurotransmitter system. This formula, like
ExcitaCor, contains a unique combination of amino
acids, vitamins, and minerals, that supports the effects of the
excitatory catecholaminergic system. In addition to the
ingredients of ExcitaCor, ExcitaPlus
also contains tyrosine. Tyrosine provides added support
for the synthesis of the catecholamines and thyroid hormones.
ExcitaPlus does not contain any amino acids
that support the inhibitory system. ExcitaPlus
is used during times of stress and low energy.
ExcitaPlus and TravaCor can be
combined in a biphasic regimen to first invigorate and then
relax.
Product Ingredients
ExcitaPlus contains a highly purified
preparation of Mucuna pruriens to provide L-dopa and tyrosine to
support for dopamine synthesis. ExcitaPlus also contains the
adaptogen Rhodiola rosea, which has been widely studied due to
its ability to affect the activity of dopamine, epinephrine,
norepinephrine, and acetylcholine during stress.
ExcitaPlus contains the semi-essential amino
acid histidine which is important for the production of
histamine and stimulates the production of ACTH and the release
of metabolism enhancing glucocorticoids. Histamine is also
important in increasing the release of stimulatory
catecholamines.
ExcitaPlus also contains N-acetylcysteine to
support sulfur-containing amino acid pathways including the
synthesis of epinephrine and glutathione, the body’s toxin
neutralizing powerhouse and free radical scavenger.
