Product Description
TravaCor
is product that supports the inhibitory neurotransmitter
system. Through a unique combination of amino acids, vitamins,
and minerals, TravaCor supports the effects of
the serotonergic and GABAergic system and increases regulation
to minimize the actions of the excitatory systems. Like Serene,
TravaCor does not contain any amino acids that
support the excitatory system.
ExcitaCor and TravaCor
can be combined in a biphasic regimen to first
invigorate and then relax.
Product Ingredients
TravaCor contains 5-HTP to support serotonin
levels as well as the amino acid theanine, which has been widely
studied for its ability to provide a calming effect and prevent
the neurotransmitter stimulatory effects induced by caffeine.
These studies match observations by NeuroScience Inc. that
theanine reduces norepinephrine, epinephrine and PEA
activity/turnover and urinary excretion. Taurine is another
inhibitory amino acid in the TravaCor formula.
Taurine acts by enhancing the effect of GABA. Together these
amino acids can quickly reduce high neurotransmitter excretion.
TravaCor also contains N-acetylcysteine to
support sulfur-containing amino acid pathways including the
synthesis of glutathione, the bodys toxin neutralizing
powerhouse and free radical scavenger. In addition to being used
in the Phase 1 of neurotransmitter optimization,
TravaCor is also used during Phase 2 and Phase 3 in
patients with persistent excitatory activity.
Other ingredients in TravaCor are vitamin and
mineral cofactors of the enzymes required for the synthesis of
neurotransmitters.
TravaCor contains
