Fat or Fiction? What's New in Weight Loss Science?
In this live video seminar, Dr. Neimark discusses the science of fat metabolism and how virtually everything you think you know about weight loss is probably wrong! Watch this video and see if you know the facts.
The Science of Energy: Are You Sick of Feeling Tired?
In this live video seminar, Dr. Neimark discusses the science of energy production and mitochondrial health. We are all at risk for nutrient deficiencies and toxicities that drain the ability of our cell's power plants (the mitochondria) to keep us healthy and well. Learn how to take charge of your health by arming yourself with the latest information that can help increase the energy and health of every cell in your body.
The Science of Detoxification: Cleaning Up Your Inner & Outer Environment
In this live video seminar, Dr. Neimark discusses the science of detoxification. We all live in a sea of toxins and you may be inadvertently poisoning your body, mind and spirit. Whether its external environmental toxins (like mercury, lead, cadmium, solvents or plastics) or internal toxins (from stress, anger, parasites or maldigestion) you may be putting yourself in harm's way for problems like ADHD, depression, dementia, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and more. Take charge of your health by arming yourself with the latest information that can help you protect yourself from toxic overload.
Digestive Disorders: Healing Your Gut
In this live seminar, Dr. Neimark discusses the many ways in which digestive disorders can compromise your health and well-being. From the overuse of antacids and Prilosec to environmental toxins to excessive levels of stress, your gut is under attack and may be compromising your physical and mental well-being. Imbalances or infections in the gut can often cause mental stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD and more. Without proper digestion, you can eat the best diet in the world and still be malnourished. Find out if you are at risk by watching this powerful seminar.
Cooling the Fires of Inflammation
In this live seminar, Dr. Neimark discusses the causes of silent inflammation in the body and why it is the single most damaging event that occurs in the body that can compromise your future health and well being. He teaches you how to know if you have silent inflammation and then teaches the simple dietary and supplement measures that can help you reduce its damaging effects. Silent inflammation leads to an increased risk of heart disease, stroke, Alzheimer's, diabetes, autoimmune disorders and more.
Two Powerful Stress Reduction Techniques: Belly-Breathing and Smiling Because You Care
In this live talk, Dr. Neimark will review the basics of the human stress response and then introduce you to two powerful techniques that can radically reduce the level of stress in your life. The first technique is diaphragmatic deep-belly breathing. The breath is the connection between the automatic nervous system and the voluntary nervous system and holds the key to stress reduction. You will learn how to harness the power of belly-breathing in this video and hear some powerful case studies of patients who have benefited from this technique. The second technique is the power of smiling when we think of people and things we genuinely care about. A smile registers in the part of the brain called the hypothalamus and can trigger the release of endorphins, powerful stress reducing and pain relieving messenger molecules in the body. In this talk you will learn how to remind yourself to smile and in so doing, reduce your stress! Enjoy the talk.
Two More Powerful Techniques for Stress Reduction: Progressive Muscle Relaxation & Appreciating The Good
In this live talk, Dr. Neimark will review the basics of the human stress response and then introduce you to two more powerful techniques that can radically reduce the level of stress in your life. The first technique is called "tensing to relax" - also known as progressive muscle relaxation. It turns out that tensing your muscles followed by relaxing them triggers the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, which gives you access to a "control switch" that can turn down your overactive fight or flight stress response, before it leads you to burnout. The second technique is the power of appreciation. Science shows that When we focus on the things we are grateful for in life and take a moment to appreciate those things, it activates the frontal lobes of the brain, which helps put the brakes on your stress response in your body. The trick is this: stress happens automatically, but we must learn to consciously evoke appreciation and gratitude. When you make a habit of taking time to appreciate the people and things in your life that you are grateful for, your stress will diminish and the positive benefits of relaxation and greater happiness will be measurable. Enjoy the talk.
Nutrient & Neurotransmitter Deficiencies
In this live talk, Dr.Neimark reviews the basics of diet and it's relationship to stress and illness. He discusses the powerful role of key nutrients in the prevention of illness and depression. You will learn all about the B vitamins, magnesium, zinc and the amino acids that are the building blocks of the key neurotransmitters like serotonin, GABA and dopamine that help to keep you happy, healthy and alert. Enjoy the talk.
